24-VII Danceforce encourages dancers of all levels to reach their maximum potential. Instructors are creative, experienced in their art and generous with their knowledge and encouragement in class. Instruction is geared toward motivating the individual student. Drop-ins are welcome at all classes unless otherwise noted. Following is a current class schedule. HEARTBEAT Community Service

We invite all 24-VII Danceforce students (preferably ages 12 and over) to participate as a volunteer in our HEARTBEAT dance program for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Read more about our HEARTBEAT program or inquire at the front desk.

Very Important Reminders

We ask that each and every dancer adhere to the following policies:

• NO student shall be allowed admission to class if tuition has not been paid or account is in delinquent status.

• Teen & Adult Company Members must audition and take a minimum of 4 classes per week including technique/jazz class. Students wishing to participate in concerts and other performances must be enrolled in and regularly attend dance classes during the entire session immediately preceding.
• A $15.00 non-refundable sessino registration fee is due the first week of class.
• Underage students wishing to attend higher-level classes may do so only with instructors consent. Please be sure to ask prior to the start of class. In the event classes reach capacity, those students meeting both age and experience level requirements will always have first preference.

Required Dance Attire

Jazz - comfortable clothing, ballet or jazz shoes or barefeet
Hip-Hop & Breaking - comfortable clothing, athletic or non-skid black shoes, knee pads recommended
Ballet/Technique (Women) - leotard, tights, fitted shorts, hair up, ballet shoes, fitted top, NO bare midriffs
Ballet/Technique (Men) - fitted shirt, tights or shorts above the knees, ballet shoes

NextGen Program

Jazz/ballet, hip-hop, and breaking classes geared for ages 5-12 at beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels. Next session begins January 2012. Upcoming NextGen Dance Concert will be April 2012.

We Invite You to Be a Part of Our Next Production

Open to all students. However, in order to participate, you must consistently attend classes during the entire session preceeding the performance -- No Exceptions!
